East Sussex Engagement shoot - Philippa & Alex

The clouds gathered and the weather forecast didn't share our optism. Sounds like the perfect time to go a do an engagment shoot. After talking with Philippa & Alex about a potential location for their photos we landed on Eastbourne/ Beachy head, it offered the beachy vibe which they were looking for. So we started off by walking to the end of the pier for some warm up shots.

I knew within about 5 minutes of jumping out my car that the wind was going to be a bit of an issue. However Philippa & Alex absolutely smashed the photos and just kind of embraced the weather. As you can see they both dressed for summer so to avoid getting too wind swept and more importantly too cold, we decided to head under the pier to get some shelter.

So I had this vision of Philippa & Alex standing on a beach with a beautfiul sunset in the background, Now I done a bit of research as I always do prior to heading to do a shoot.

I knew that if we was in the right place at the right time that this moment would happen. The weather however wasn't giving me much hope, this was the added to when it started raining as soon as we pulled up a Birling gap.

I saw a patch of clear sky approaching, I got Philippa just to chill for a second and then the moment came. The sun started to show a beautiful orange glow. I've never taken so many photos in such a short space of time ( I defintely have but minor details ) These are definetly some of my favourite photos I've captured in a while.

I always say this but this shoot was so much fun, I love pushing myself and getting creative whilst meeting new people.

This rounds up my engagement shoots for August. I have a couple of things planned for september including a couple of engagement shoots and a birthday party.

And one final thing from me, I've really stepped up the quality of my imges recently and i think this in part due to just being behind the camera more.
